1/23/2011 Taking to the wintry region to promote her new film,
Zooey Deschanel was front and center at the "My Idiot Brother"
premiere during the 2011 Sundance Film Festival in Park City,
Utah on Saturday (January 22).
Held at the Eccles Center Theatre, Miss Deschanel donned a
colorful purple dress while joined at the debut screening by
castmates Emily Mortimer, Paul Rudd, Rashida Jones and
Elizabeth Banks.
Due out this year, "My Idiot Brother is directed by Jesse Peretz
while being described as "a comedy centered on an idealist who
barges into the lives of his three sisters."
Previously talking to MTV about his character as the idealistic
organic farmer, Mr Rudd said, "I immediately go to jail for selling
marijuana to a uniformed police officer. However, the character is
not dumb. The character just kind of appeals to everybody's higher
angels and thinks that if he throws goodness out there, it will in turn
come back."
