11/22/09 Well, Victoria Secret is auditioning new girls to be "The Next Victoria Secret
Model" wow.. everyone is just biting on Tyra's NTM idea. Speaking of ANTM, love that
Nicole was the winner! You go shorty! But that is not what this post is about. This post
is about the auditions in Chicago for the NVSM (Next Victoria Secret Model) and if you
asked me there was definitely some talent on that line. They had the girls walk, pose in
models and picked 10 girls out of about 1000 girls in Chicago who all lined up outside in
the windy city. Click here to see some photos of the wannabe's.
Now on December 1, they will air the Victoria Secret runway show that just took place in
NYC and you know I was there and I can tell you this. Heidi Klum who just had a baby
looked really amazing! I got some great photos from the runway for you all... So click

During the debut photoshoot of Victoria's Secret new swimwear collection, South African model Candice Swanepoel's awesome
skinny frame evoked much criticism, (here we go again). Critics start with the "eating disorder" talk. I would like to say that Candice
does not have any type of eating disorder. I have spoken with her personally during fashion week and she is just a huge exercise
buff and maintains a healthy eating style, while really kinda eating every 3 -4 hours here and there when traveling and working many
hours it takes a toll sometimes and you can drop weight. This I do know as a model myself, if you are modeling underwear or bikini you
really try to de-hydrate so to speak no food or water till your done.

Candice, however, looking amazing during the VS Secret swimsuit catalogue which was released in the month of January, she was I
would say she was about 6lbs heavier, but I really don't know if that was phot-shopping that made her actually look "thicker" so to
speak.

Anyway...In response to the speculations, Candice "still" maintains that she is "healthy and happy" and that there is no reason for
worry. I have a huge gallery of photos of Candice almost her entire portfolio and her body is pretty much a very lean long and healthy

Is Model Kate Upton the Answer to the Skinny Backlash Against Victoria’s Secret?

4/22/2011 Victoria's Secret model Kate Upton is allegedly the brand's answer to the backlash over its use of
very thin models. Last week Candice Swanepoel was criticized for looking skinny at a promotional event,
though she probably wasn't any or much thinner than she's ever been modeling for the brand. The Herald Sun
believes VS released new photos of the curvier, as they say, Kate Upton wearing their bras to prove they don't
just promote "too thin" body types.

The 18-year-old has also appeared in the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue and can be seen in a mildly popular
YouTube video. But the strange thing was the sudden shock over VS models being thin, because guess what:
They've always been thin. After all, these are women who readily admit to cutting out food groups and working
out for two hours a day for a couple months leading up to the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show so that they can
be thin (and they most definitely look it, especially in person). The models also haven't been shy about
admitting that they wear special padding in their bras to make their boobs look bigger — for it is the rare
woman who is as thin as many of them with boobs as big as theirs appear. And what's almost disturbing is that
the message at the fashion show is that this is the most beautiful women can look.

So yay for Kate Upton, who may represent a healthier, more attainable body type than many of her colleagues,
but who may also have her fellow models in a quandary about how they should look if their current figures are
no longer the ideal. For famous women, there is seldom a right weight.
