Tyra Still Isn’t Done Talking About How Fat She Isn’t

You can call her a “Fatty Pig Fatty” all you want, O&A fans, Tyra
Banks isn’t done convincing the world that she’s perfect just-the-
way-she-is yet.
According to Faded Youth, Tyra plans on flying down to the
Bahamas to recreate her ground-breaking Sports Illustrated cover
shot. She’ll then feature the SI Tyra + 20 30something-pounds
photographs on the February 19th episode of her show. I suspect
Opie and Anthony’s listeners are already licking their lips in
anticipation.
We love Tyra’s “I Swear I’m Not Fat” Tour more than anybody, but
we’re not looking forward to seeing her squeeze into that polka
dot bikini again. Is anybody looking forward to that? Seriously…
we need to know.

part of it! The talk diva is creating a
new, virtual extension of "The Tyra
Banks Show."
Users of Tyra's new interactive site
can make "avatars," where they
pick their own look and
personality. The avatars also
"party like they're in the real
world" -- on a simulated version of
her talk show stage. Beware of the
Lindsay Lohan-looking avatar, or
you may end up in virtual rehab.
The first installment of Banks'
virtual world took place on
Monday, February 12 when Tyra
hosted an online post-Grammy
party. Viewers can download the
software from the Tyra Banks show
website, www.tyrashow.com. It is

To celebrate the 10 year anniversary of being the first Black woman on the
cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, Tyra Banks decided to recreate
the photo that ostensibly launched her career.
Now, as far as moments in Black history go, I think Tyra Banks being the first
Black woman on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue probably
isn't the most important, but it deserves to be noted, and I'm sure it went a
long way to making Black women feel more appreciation in the world. Not
being a Black woman, myself, I can't actually say for certain.
And while I have nothing but respect for Tyra Banks' achievements throughout
her modelling career, I have to say her career as a talk show host leaves much
to be desired. Furthermore, this latest stunt, designed to pull ratings during
February sweeps (because that is what she's trying to do), is actually pretty
annoying.
Tyra Banks is not celebrating Black history month, as much as she's trying to
prove she's still got it, whatever "it" is. The fact of the matter is, she doesn't.
While I stand by my claim that Tyra Banks looked fat in that one particular
photo (and she did), I will agree that she's not obese. She is a little pudgy,
however, and that's simply the truth. She even acknowledges it herself,
constantly, in the videos below. But... she still seems to have dropped 20lbs
before this show... fasting or something like that! Remember she used to be a
model... she knows how to fast and take off weight quick..... Anyway,
The thing is, if she's trying to prove that she's still as beautiful as she was, or
even just attractive the way she is now, why the hell did she Photoshop the fat
out of her re-done cover photo? Wouldn't it do women a greater service to see
what a woman really looks like, if that was really Tyra's goal? Of course, it
wasn't. Tyra Banks wants to think she's as hot as she ever was. Well, she isn't.

Isaiah Washington of Grey's Anatomy, who apologized for using a gay slur at the Golden Globes, met Monday with gay and lesbian
organization leaders and "acknowledged the harm he caused," the groups said in a statement.
"Isaiah understands that he is going to be judged by more than just his apology," Neil G. Giuliano, president of the Gay & Lesbian
Alliance Against Defamation, said in the statement. "He knows that his future actions, including the genuine first step that today's
meeting represents, will demonstrate his sincerity in becoming part of the solution to anti-gay bigotry."
Kevin Jennings, founder of the Gay, Lesbian & Straight Education Network, was also in the meeting with the actor. He said his group
is "hopeful that Isaiah Washington has come to a deeper understanding of the power of words."
He added: "As a parent himself, Isaiah Washington seemed to particularly appreciate the impact these words have on young
people."
Gay advocacy groups called for an apology and the meeting after Washington told reporters at the Globes that he never called gay
co-star T.R. Knight a "faggot" last year. Knight has said that Washington did use the slur.
Washington apologized last week, saying he could "neither defend nor explain" his behavior and acknowledging "there are issues I
obviously need to examine within my own soul."

starting to sound like Cartmen from South Park..."I am not fat I am big boned" well Tyra and
Cartmen are going to have to stop eating those cheezy poofs.
Tyra who said that she was not fat and that America needs to see... Then she put on a
bathing suit with tights on underneath to hold in any excess. One month later after Tyra lost
20 more pounds and did Sports Illustrated... still much heavier than from the original shoot.
Her photos were photo shopped.
Now she has lost even more weight on Atkins.
So, I think that if Tyra was trying to put out the image it is okay to be fat than why would she
be losing more weight to show America she is not FAT? Just thought I would ask you... I just
don't understand... Are you happy at 185 pounds Tyra? Or are you happy at a weight of 135?
Just thought I would ask. If you are trying to say something to all those young girls out there
who are over weight you should be telling them that every moment is a moment for change.
Change your diet,change your exercise reguime and most of all change your attitude! Tyra is
sooo funny lately. she needs to make up her mind happy fat or unhappy and want to get back
to a size 4!
