These are not my tips they are taken from many Prothinspoer's and put together ....

Tips for Anorexia and Bulimia

1.Drink lots of ice cold water. Cold water raises motabolism and burns calories. Also, when you are thirsty, you may confuse hunger for
thirst.
2.Take multi vitamins. Make sure to get the water soluable ones and not the fat soluable ones. I made this mistake myself. Vitamins will
also reduce appetite.
3.Protein especially. When you exercise alot you break down your muscles. Protein helps build muscles. Muscles= faster motabolism.
4.Switch to non- fat or low fat everything.
5.Caffeine is a god- send. It will aid in suppressing appetite, higher energy, and burns calories. But be carefull and drink extra water
when consuming caffeine.
6."An aspirin a day burns fat and raises metabolism." One of the worst things you can do to your body. DO NOT do this.
7.Find your binge triggers and avoid them at any and all costs.
8.Sleep every chance you get! (This is coming from an insomniac who tells you to drink more coffee!)
9.Set rules regarding food. Star off with a couple easy one you know you can follow and gradually add to the list.
10.Reward yourself for completed goals. But not with food. Doh!
11.Eat slowly, in small bites. Cut your food into small peices. pause frequently to drink water or your favorite diet drink. Also, when at
dinner with friends or family, talk cheerfully. Take their attention off your eating habbits.
12.Think about food before and while you eat it. Totally focus on the taste of it. Think about what it went through before it got to you.
13.Only eat when you have to eat with your family or friends. In other words, never eat alone.
14.If you feel yourself starting to slip into binge mode, put your fork down, clear your mind and remind yourself that you are going to
finish....you're just pausing to catch your breath.
15.Sabotage your food. Put too much pepper, an ingridient you dont like, or too much water. Don't use salt, it'll bloat you.
16.When you are bloated, the more water you drink, the faster you lose that water weight. The main reason anas appear bloated is
because they are dehydrated. 17.Also lemon juice is a natural diuretic.
18.Start hiding your behaviors before anyone ever notices them.
19.Don't ever bring up the subject about weight around anyone. Don't say you think you are fat.
20.Don't show off your weight- loss with anyone until you reach your ultimate goal. Until then, wear baggy, loose fitting clothes.
21.Set yourself a weigh- and- measure date. like the first of every month. Do not do it every day.
22.Throw out food that you would have otherwise eaten. Cut out the middleman.
23.Apple cidar vinegar helps raise motabolism and burn fat. Also works as an appetite suppressant. Dilute it in a carbonated drink or
water.
24.Try to cut out sodas altogether. They cause you to reatain fat. Even diet sodas.
25.Chew on ice.
26.Vegetables!
27.Keep moving when you're sitting. Tap your fingers, bounce your knees, whatever.
28.Practice good posture. It burns more calories and actually tones your abs.
29.Brush your teeth when you crave something.
30.Always sleep on an empty stomach.
31.Keep busy. Refer to the Distractions section.
32.Make your room your sanctuary.Always keep the doors shut and let only select people in there, if any.
33.Take tums. They reduce stomach acid, hence making you not hungry. This also woks with ant- acid pills and alka- setzer.
34.Drink afull glass of water every hour.
35.It is possible to drink too much water. It can actually work the same as purging. It will dry you out of electrolytes just as purging
would.
36.Always eat the healthy, less calorie foods first when you have to eat dinner.
37.The more water you drink in between bites will make food come up better when purging.
38.If you are mia, take your vitamins at night, when you will not purge the rest of the day.
39.DO NOT USE SYRUP OF IPECAC!!!! I cannot stress this enough.
40.If you are one who does not like jalopenos (like me), because they are way too hot for you... take a bite of one every time you feel a
craving coming on and you will end up drinking so much water that you couldn't possibly think of eating.
41.The best purging trick that doctors don't know about: ROCK SALT! Take two table spoons of this stuff as you would your vitamins
with a litre of warm liquid. Make sure you are near a bucket though, it will catch you by surprise. Best of all, almost undetected by family
because no bruises on your knuckles.

Hiding It

1.If you are one who is always with friends you can say you already ate. (duh)
2.If you (like me), are very seldom with friends and live at home (like me) with your parents, try chew/ spitting or spit into a napkin. I
came up with this way to hide the food and it uses less napkins. This will only work on a kitchen table that laps all around; meaning if
you were to tape someting to the bottom you would not be able to see it ( unless of course you got under the table). Okay, next you get a
gallon sized freezer bag. Open the zip part. Tape the bottom of the bag very securely to the underside of the table. Next tape the top part
of the open zip lock bag to the underside of the table. The open part should be on the same side as the hand you would normally wipe
your mouth with. Now you are ready to eat dinner (not!). When you are eating, pretend you are wiping your mouth (be sure no one is
looking at you or talking to you, this works best when your parents are talking to eachother) and spit your food into the napkin. Next,
using one hand under the table, open the napkin and put the food into the bag. Then repeat. This of course takes practice, but I know it
works because I have been doing it for two years.
3.Try not to be too obvious by getting such small amounts, but try not to get too much and NEVER go for seconds. Every calorie counts.
4.Say you don't feel well, you have the stomach flu. This works for up to two weeks. Enough time for a good fast. Be sure to look like
your eating.
5.When you lose a serious amount of weight start wearing baggy clothes. If someone asks why your wearing those kinda clothes just
say you are bloated. This only works for the girls. (Sorry guys!)
6.Try to maintain your grades at school. If they drop dramatically, their first thought of course would be drugs. Then they'll watch you
more closely and make life so much harder on you.
7.Always erase your pro- ana site history. If you don't know how to do that, ask another ana buddy or e- mail me.
8.NEVER leave a thinspiration book or your journal/ diary just lying around. This goes for links to other pro sites.
9.Never leave cut- up magazines around.
10.Don't talk about how fat you think you are or how thin this or that actress is.
11.Don't brag about your weightloss until you have reached your goal. This of course does not attain to your ana buddies.
12.Whatever you do don't let your friends or family watch movies about ana or mia or how terrible pro ana sites are. Their first reaction
would be to take a good long look at their loved- ones.
13.Avoid going to the doctor at all costs.
If you do have to visit the doctor and you are underweight, here are some things you can try: drink tons of water, if you know you are
going to the doctor a few days in advance you can load op on salt; you can lose the water weight alot easier,Wear heavy clothes and
clunky shoes, wear extra jewlry, paint your nails with extra layers ( every ounce counts, remember 16 ounces make a pound), if the
doctors office isn't too far from your house you can wash your hair right before going, layer the inside bottom of your shoes with coins, (
I hate to say this) but don't scrub your body for a few days and don't shave your legs, when the doctor weighs you, say "hey, I lost some
weight!" pay attention to your facial expressions upon saying this, when you are weighed, and when the doctor talks to you. If you are
still underweight after all that and the doctor asks you about it just say you've been so busy and you too are unhappy with your weight
loss, say it definately wasn't intentional, you can even say you haven't felt well.
14.If you are mia, say ( before the doc checks you out) that you have been throwing up lately... if you have bruises on your knuckles you
can cover them with make- up.
15.Try to get out of the house more.
While with other people you can say: you are diabetic, the doctor put you on a special diet, you're just not feeling well, you already ate (
go into detail of how that burger, hot dog, etc. you ate tasted terrible; you may have even gotten food poisoning) or you just don't care for
whatever resturant you were invited to, you can even say you got food poisoning there once. ( I wouldn't suggest the food poisoning
excuse if your family owns the returant).


Burning a pound


It takes 3500 calories extra or less to gain or lose a pound of fat. You must take in 3500 calories more than you put out to gain a pound
and you must take in or burn off 3500 calories less than your body needs to lose a pound. It takes 13 calories per pound of body weight
per day just to keep you alive, so say you weigh 100lbs, it takes 1300 calories a day just to keep you alive even if you just lay in bed all
day. On the dark side, if you've been restricting like mad (under 1000 cal. a day or so) then your metabolism has slowed down and it may
take you only 2000 or so cal. to gain a pound, but it may take as many as 4000 you would need to burn to lose that same pound cause
your body thinks there is a famine going on and it fights like hell to keep you alive. That is why it is good to stop dieting once in a while,
eat a little more (at least 1500 cal) and just maintain your current weight for a few weeks to let your metabolism even itself out. Then
you'll be able to lose again even better and with less risk of messing yourself up.





How To Erase Your History

Sorry guys, just your computers history. This is if you have Windows 2000 xp.

1. Go to "Tools".
2. Go to "Internet Options".
2. Click "Delete Cookies"
3. When it says "Are you sure you want to delete cookies?", click "Okay".
4. Next click "Delete Files".
5. When it says "Are you sure...." check the box that says "Delete offline content" and click "Okay".
6. Next click "Clear History".
7. Click "Okay".

To Delete Saved Passwords
Warning: this will also delete your saved passwords to get online. Make sure you rember your password before you do this.

1. Go to "Tools".
2. Go to "Internet Options".
3. Go to "Content".
4. Next click "Clear Forms". This will clear the auto complete forms for visited websites and searches.
5. Click "Okay".
6. Go to "Clear Passwords".
7. Click "Okay".

How To Clear Your Search History

1. If you have a google search bar, click on the down arrow located to the right of it, after the "e" in "Google".
2. Hit "Clear search history".
3. Your all set!

Note: To prevent parents, loved ones, or friends from discovering your visited ana sites, do this after every internet visit.

*Take a long, hot bath and relax

*Wash the curtains, table clothes, and linens

*Go for a long walk
*Water your plants
*Decorate your house in christmas stuff (if its christmas duh)
*Color in coloring books (bring back your childhood)
*Mow your yard (dont run over cats)
*Get out of your house
*Get a tan
*Suck up to your parent(s)
*Clean all your dirty dirty dishes
*Day dream
*Try to do a back flip
*Try to do a stand...hehehe
*Try to walk on your hands
*Play with your pet
*Dress up
*Learn some new words
*Take a shower
*Learn yoga (OoO Big fun)
*Do pilates
*Clean your refridgerator out.
*Make your own regret list about your life.
*Make your own thankful list about your life
*Scream
*hehehe punch a tree.. its worth a try...
*Make scolding hot cocoa and drink it... it wont burn..that bad...
*Breathe in slowly for 8 minutes
*Make your own garden
*If you have one clean your garden out
*Admire yourself for not eating
*Have a water drinking contest
*Write in your journal, diary, or "book"
*Upate your ana/mia scrapbook(s)
*Volunteer for your community (unless you've been in jail before) lol
*Learn to speak a foreign language
*Make a list of your dreams, hopes
*Go online
*Tell someone you love them
*Make a list of the pros and cons of the person you're with
*Watch your pet eat... especially if you have a hamster
*Make a "chore" list for the week..month..year.. (your mom should love that)
*Babysit
*Go to the park
*Play with little kids
*Sleep
*Take another shower (No really..take a shower)
*Organize all your cabnets and drawers in the house
*Go shopping
*Play basketball, softball, etc.
*Meditate
*Do the things you've been putting off
*Call an old friend
*Fake sick so you'll have to stay in bed all day
*Make your own distractions list
