Nick Cannon, Selita Banks Call It Quits but she still is
wearing the gems...
` NEW YORK (AP) — Months after a public proposal in Times
Square, Nick Cannon and Victoria's Secret model Selita Ebanks
have parted ways — for the time being.
"Selita and Nick are taking a break to focus on their careers but
still very much love each other and remain the best of friends,"
Ebanks' publicist, Melissa Raubvogel, said.
Cannon popped the question in May. The 26-year-old rapper-
actor got down on bent knee as the words "Selita will you marry
me?" flashed on a giant TV screen in Times Square. He then
presented Ebanks with a 15-carat diamond ring that he helped
design.
They met at a Super Bowl party in Miami in February.
The 24-year-old beauty, seen here wearing the ring Cannon
designed, sparkles in 9,000 diamonds, rubies, emeralds and
sapphires on her blinged out Victoria's Secret Christmas
lingerie set. Ho, ho, ho!

ExerciseSelita does some cardio, but prefers light weights and core
training. She works out two weeks before a show, 5 days a week, for 1
hour a day.

Quotes
“Every woman’s body is different. What works for me, because my
frame is so small… I work out two weeks prior to a show, five days a
week, for an hour a day. We do a lot of weight and core training. Not so
much cardio, because I don’t need to burn anything. Actually my
trainer, before we go to work out we have to eat breakfast. For me that
consists of bacon, pancakes, eggs and cheese. My trainer says that
because I’m so small, if I didn’t eat those things that I would wither
away. And it’s true. I’m so small. For me, going to the gym is just about
being toned and having muscle definition and enhancing some good
qualities about my body. But like I said, when women want to lose
weight they shouldn’t look at it as losing weight or trying to look a
certain way. I would say, “Look, you’re beautiful as you are.” When you
go to the gym and you have a trainer, or whatever you are doing, you
just want to tone what you have. That’s healthy. It’s not about being
skinny or losing weight. We, as women, want to be healthy.”
