People ask me everyday what was the strongest product that I have taken to lose weight the fastest. I took
Prothinspo's Hydroxylim/ Diet Slim...I chose this product because of two studies.... The first studied showed a
more rapid and effective weight loss than other diet products.This study set out to determine the efficacy of a
calcium/potassium salt of 60% HCA extract from Garcinia cambogia alone and in combination with niacin-
bound chromium and a standardized Gymnema Sylvestre Extract on weight-loss parameters in human
volunteers. I know blah blah, but  In a double-blind fashion,
60 moderately obese individuals were randomly
assigned to three groups.
Group 1 received just calcium/potassium salt of 60% HCA extract from Garcinia cambogia.
Group 2 received the Garcinia cambogia extract, chromium polynicotinate, and Gymnema sylvestre extract.
Group 3 received a placebo. All subjects received a 2000 kcal/day diet, participated in supervised walking
five times per week, and took their assigned test supplements 3 times daily, 30 to 60 minutes before meals.
Test measurements were then performed throughout the study, evaluating changes in bodyweight, body mass
index (BMI), appetite, blood lipids, and markers of fat oxidation.
After 8 weeks,
Group 1 lost an average of 10 pounds, Group 2 lost 12.54 pounds, and the placebo group lost
3.53 pounds. At 8 weeks, both Group 1 and 2 were found to have lost significantly more weight than the
placebo group. A reduction in appetite was also demonstrated in both Group 1 and 2. In addition, both Group
1 and 2 showed a significant increase in indicators of fat breakdown. It was concluded that supplementation
with the combination of (-)– hydroxycitric acid (HCA-SX), niacin-bound chromium, and Gymnema Sylvestre
Extract can help people with weight management.

The next study was an 8 week study....In this 8-week, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled human
trial, 30 moderately obese subjects were divided into three groups. Group 1 received just the
calcium/potassium salt of 60% HCA extract from Garcinia cambogia. Group 2 received Garcinia cambogia
extract, chromium polynicotinate, and Gymnema sylvestre extract. Group 3 received a placebo. All subjects
were placed on a 2000 kcal/day diet; ingested the assigned test supplements 3 times daily, 30 to 60 minutes
prior to meals; and participated in supervised walking five times per week. At the end of 8 weeks, Group 1
lost, on average, 12.1 pounds. Group 2 lost, on average, 14.99 pounds. Group 3 lost, on average, 3.06
pounds. At the end of the study period, weight-loss values in both Group 1 and Group 2 were significantly
greater than in the placebo group. Moreover, the placebo group showed a slight increase in food consumption,
while the HCA groups both showed a significant reduction in appetite compared to placebo. Based on the
results from this study, it was concluded that the unique HCA extract used in this trial, either alone or in
combination with Gymnema Sylvestre Extract and niacin-bound chromium, is effective in helping control
appetite, increase fat oxidation, and promote weight loss.

Tones: Butt, thighs, shoulders, triceps, and core

Stand with your feet hip-width apart. Hold dumbbells up at your shoulders—
elbows bent and pointing out to the sides, palms facing forward. Take a giant
step forward with your right leg and lower your body until your knees are
bent 90 degrees. Your knees should be in line with your ankles. (A) Press
into your right foot, straighten your right leg, and come to a stand,
simultaneously pulling your left knee forward in front of your hips (so you’re
standing on one leg) and pressing the weights up toward the ceiling .(B)
Return to start. Repeat with your left leg. 10 to 12 reps per leg
To make the move more challenging, place your front foot on a step.

Tones: Butt and thighs; raises heart rate to burn extra calories
Stand with your right leg forward and your left leg extended behind you, toes
on the floor. Bend your right knee and dip your left knee toward the floor, so
you’re in a lunge position. Place your arms straight out in front of you or out
to the sides.(A) Swiftly jump up and switch legs in midair, in a motion like a
scissor. (B) When your back knee grazes (or nearly grazes) the ground, jump
again. Keep jumping continuously, without resting, for a full set. To prevent
injury, try to land as softly as possible. 10 to 20 jumps


Tones: Butt, thighs, back, and shoulders
Hold a dumbbell in your left hand and lunge forward with your right leg.
Taking a cue from the triangle pose in yoga, turn your left foot out—so it's
perpendicular to your leg—and rest your right forearm on your right thigh,
palm up. Extend your left arm straight down, with your palm facing your right
leg. (A) Keeping your left arm extended, squeeze your shoulder blades
together and raise your left arm straight out to the side until it reaches
shoulder height. (B) Return to start. Complete a full set, then switch sides. 10
to 12 reps per side

The shape: Pears populate the roster of bombshell beauties, from Alicia Keys
to Jennifer Love Hewitt. As the name of this body type implies, pears are
proportionally smaller on top, easily pack weight onto their lower bodies, and
have a hard time toning their arms and shoulders.

The Rx: A pear often becomes obsessed with whittling down her lower body
by doing dozens of lunges and leg lifts. Of course you want your butt, hips,
and thighs to be tight and toned. But, pears: you also want your body to be
balanced, so don’t neglect what’s above the belt.

STRAIGHT BODY TYPE... You're stick straight with very few curves. Add more
shape to your waist and sculpt your glutes with this workout plan for straight
body types.The shape: Women with ruler-straight body types, like Cameron
Diaz, can wear nearly anything—but they don’t generally have the girl curves
to really kick it up in a bikini. Any weight they do carry usually forms a little
potbelly, just like the boys get. Straight/boyish builds are similar to athletic
types in that they also carve a fairly square silhouette; but unlike their
athletic counterparts, boyish builds tend to have a tough time getting muscle
tone.

The Rx: To add some curves, women with straight builds should focus on
tightening their core—especially their deep abdominal muscles which pull in
the belly, and the obliques, which cinch in the sides of the waist.
Straight/boyish body types should also increase weight training to add lean
muscle mass (read: curves) to their butts. Upper- and middle-back exercises
will help un-hunch a square-body-type’s shoulders, lessening the frail-
looking frame.

the risk of popping out a little bit too much, especially in the thighs and
upper arms. To keep a shapely yet firm figure, curvy body types should pay
special attention to their extremities.

THE MERMAID EXERCISE... Tones: Core (especially obliques) and shoulders

Assume a side plank position, with your right elbow on the floor directly
beneath your shoulder. Stagger your feet so your left foot is in front of your
right foot. (A) Raise your left arm directly overhead—bicep next to your ear,
arm extended, and with your palm facing the floor—so your arm is in line with
your body. Arch your left arm towards the floor as you raise your hips up in
the air. (B) Return to start. Repeat for a full set; then switch sides. 8 to 10
reps

Glute Bridge with Triceps Extension...Tones: Butt, core, and triceps

Holding a dumbbell in each hand, lie on your back, with your knees bent.
Bend your elbows so the weights are positioned at either side of your head,
palms facing your ears and elbows pointed up toward the ceiling. (A)
Simultaneously contract your glutes and raise your hips—so your body forms
a straight line from your shoulders to your knees—while you extend your
arms, so the weights are lined up with your chest. (B) Return to start. 10 to 12
reps.

ATHELTIC You have broad shoulders and narrow hips. Tighten your core, and
add some shape to your butt and thighs with this athletic-body-type workout.
The shape: Think Hayden Panettiere or Jessica Biel—broad across the back
and shoulders, narrower through the hips. Athletic builds are often short-
waisted (and maybe a little thick-waisted), tend to have square silhouettes,
and will have a lower ratio of fat to muscle than curvy or pear-shaped body
types. Swimsuits can be tough to find for athletic builds, because what fits
the bottom half will often be too small to stretch over the top.

The Rx: Athletic women don’t generally need too much toning. But a bikini
begs for a little balance, as well as a little nip through the waist for a sexy
silhouette. Tummy-tightening core moves, along with lower-body exercises
that shape the glutes and thighs, are the perfect complement to this already
strong build.

When You Don't Want to Exercise......Think about the after effects
You shouldn’t think about the actual act of exercising, think about the after effects. Keep in mind how great
you will feel after you’re done working out. Think about your post-exercise routine, whether you sit and
relax in the sauna at a gym, or drink water on the way home – you will know that you stuck to your
commitment.

Get dressed
When you get home, change into your gym clothes. This way, there’s one less obstacle standing in your
way of exercising. When we’re tasked with something we don’t want to do or think we are unable to do, we
count and dread each step required. By changing into your workout clothes as soon as you get home, you’
re ready to jump onto the treadmill without any contemplation.

Get some caffeine
If you don’t want to work out, reward yourself first. Go get a diet soda or coffee. While they may not be
healthiest to drink, you can reward yourself by having one before you workout. Not only can this be an
encouragement to go to the gym, but the caffeine both contain will give you an extra shot of energy when
you workout. It could even speed up your metabolism briefly.

Track your progress
Keep a fitness journal and you’re not as likely to put off working out for another day. Putting everything in
black and white is a good way to get visisble, concrete evidence of your efforts. It can be part guilt, or part
urge to continue your progress, whatever it is – seeing how long and how hard you have been exercising
for the past several days/weeks/months makes you want to go workout.

Change it up
You may not have the urge to exercise today because you’re tired or burnt out. One of the best ways to
rejuvenate your exercise routine is to switch it up. If you run everyday, try something new – go swimming.
Play some basketball. Start a dance class. Do something that you haven’t done before and add that to your
exercise mix.

Do anything
If nothing works motivating you to exercise, at the very least do something. Walk for 5 or 10 minutes, ride a
bike down the street, anything. This keeps your routine of working out everyday going, gets your blood
flowing faster, elevates your heart rate, and is just overall good for you.

Some of the benefits of exercising when pregnant include:

The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, or ACOG, has guidelines for pregnancy women
that exercise. They state that women who are pregnant should perform 30 minutes of average, moderate
physical activity 4-6 days of the week. This doesn't mean going to the gym to pump iron and run three miles,
but simply getting out of the house and going for a stroll around the block, or a bike ride with the kids
(depending how pregnant you are).

You need to be extra cautious of symptoms that originate during exercise. These conditions include:

Dizziness
Faintness
Shortness of breath
Vaginal bleeding
Heart palpitations
Uterine contractors
Headaches.
If you experience any of these complications during your workout, seek advice of medical professionals.
