6/2/08 Ashley Olsen leaves with a swank swag bag from a fashion event in New York City’s Greenwich Village on Sunday. Ashley and twin sister Mary-Kate are currently working on a new collection of jewelry designs. The 21-year-olds are reportedly collaborating with the Council of Fashion Designers of America award-winning jewelry designer Robert Lee Morris to create a range of accessories for their Elizabeth and James clothing company. The Olsen twins were also recently in West Hollywood to promote their glossy October book, Influence. In the book, the twins interview 22 actors, designers and photographers they consider influential, including Karl Lagerfeld, Lauren Hutton, Diane von Furstenberg and Margherita Missoni. 6/13/08 We never really get alot of insight into Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen’s private lives, but today MSNBC reported something pretty interesting, or not, depends on how bored you are at work today. “Every time they pose and smile, they say the word ‘prune,’” Why prune? | 6/21/08 Mary Kate and her twin sister Ashley were contemplating matching nose jobs. This plan appears to have been put to action, as the two look like they have gotten the matching rhinoplasties . Despite the nose jobs, the twins are back to looking as though they are identical, although some say you can tell who is who by the size of their lips (we can’t). Ashley’s acting career seems to have stagnated, as she is more talked about who she is dating than what she is filming. | 7/16/08 When the Milk Processor Education Campaign hired the Olsen twins for its "Got Milk?" campaign, they though they were buying into the stars' wholesome image. But even from the start, the muttering began. Why was Ashley wearing a t-shirt with an image from the Velvet Underground album famous for celebrating drug use and sadomasochism? Aren't the Olsen Twins' short statures counter to the claims that milk builds strong bones? (The MPEC insisted that teens looked up to the Olsen twins, no matter how short they are.) And then there was the controversy they really should have seen coming when they dressed up the ultra-mini Mary-Kate for the photo shoot. Two months after the magazine campaign hit the newsstands, Mary-Kate was checked into an eating disorder treatment facility. She not only didn't 'get milk?"; she didn't 'get' any kind of food. Adding irony to the PR debacle was the statement made by the twins at the time of the campaign launch, that "we want to help make sure our fans are healthy like us." Mary-Kate Olsen.
The 42-year-old banker - the half-brother of former French President Nicolas Sarkozy - has been dating the
25-year-old fashion designer for around five months.
Now he has bought a New York townhouse so they can spend some quality time together.
According to the New York Post newspaper, Olivier and Mary-Kate fell in love with the 146-year-old property
because they "like that it is old".
Insiders had previously claimed that while Olivier and Mary-Kate won't officially be living together, the former
child star will be there most of the time.
"They are really, really happy," A source said.
"And Olivier is buying a townhouse below 14th Street, to be with Mary-Kate.
"We are told they're not officially moving in together - they both think it's too early for that.
"But he's telling friends that Mary-Kate is the best thing that has happened to him in a long time."
Mary-Kate dated artist Nate Lowman for over two years before splitting in 2010, while Olivier romanced
actress Stella Schnabel for a year before their break-up in March.
Olivier was previously married to wife Charlotte and they have two children together.
Charlotte has since called the coupling "grotesque" and "not right".

while sitting in Madison Square Garden. And since Sarkozy has about 16 years on her, a vexed ex-wife and
two children who are approximately the same height as MKO, it's hard not to notice when the couple is out in
public together. Let me just say ick.. The couple made themselves quite comfortable as they kissed, cuddled
and whispered into each other's ears and he semmed to like to pet Mary-Kate on the head a lot and all this
