Blu-ray Rise and Shine with Maximum Risk's Natasha Henstridge

She'll eat your heart out... literally. There's no mistaking Natasha Henstridge as the
original reproduction-driven alien Sil from cult classic Species. Her unmistakable
physique became synonomous with the "best hot tub sex kill scene" in movie history.
This week we've giving the Blu-ray Rise and Shine to Natasha not for the seductive
and deadly character that put her name on the map. That would be too easy. Instead,
we're honoring her huge body of work in low-budget action films that rely on home
video to make their coin.
For example, Natasha has co-starred in Adrenalin: Fear the Rush, Steal, Second Skin
and A Better Way to Die, to name a few. She's dabbled in TV with The Outer Limits and
She Spies. And this week, she makes an appearance on Blu-ray alongside Mr.
Universal Soldier himself, Jean-Claude Van Damme, in Maximum Risk.
Natasha continues to acknowledge her roots by making cameos in the Species series,
most recently in the third sequel. As long as new Species films are sent
direct-to-video, chances are Sil will continue to poke her nose into other people's
business.
