Not that I am complaining but this was a weak week for celebrity news....Gorgeous Myleene will present the
CNN network’s new film show, “The Screening Room” which will be shown internationally from March 30th.
The half hour show is reported to feature interviews with the biggest movie stars, red carpet coverage and
film festival coverage. About the show, Myleene said:
“I’m overwhelmed to be part of something so groundbreaking for CNN - the network’s first movie show.
CNN has kudos and gravitas all over the world, and that strong brand will ensure that I will get the very best
interviews. One thing is for sure, if I wasn’t part of The Screening Room, I’d be glued to my seat watching
it.”

Following in the footsteps of top model Erin O’Connor and 60’s icon Twiggy, Myleene has signed a deal with
Marks & Spencer to promote the company’s spring and summer collections including swimwear. Myleene
flew out to Cape Town to model alongside Twiggy and Erin, and also British model Laura Bailey, and took the
first shots of her advertising campaign for the company. The new adverts should hit our stores later this
month.
Of the experience, Myleene said:
“At first I was a little bit nervous - who wouldn’t be standing next to Twiggy and Erin? But once I put on
those clothes, and the way the whole team treat me, then I started to feel like a real M&S girl. Every woman
in the UK sees the M&S ads and wants to be a part of it. It’s the ultimate girl gang.”
Steve Sharp, the Marks and Spencer marketing director said:
“We’re thrilled that Myleene has joined us for this campaign. She’s a beautiful and very talented young
woman with a lovely, warm personality.”
Although rumours suggest that Myleene signed a £1 million contract, none of the financial details are
actually known.
