This is not intended as a Pro-Ana or Pro-Mia site. I do not endorse or promote eating disorders in any way. This site is meant as a support tool for people who need motivation in their goals as it relates to weight loss. It is my opinion that if people suffer from eating disorders, there is little I can do to hurt them or help them. It is also my opinion that sifting through thinspiration pictures online is not going to give you an eating disorder. This isn't a cold, and you can't catch it from someone else who has it.

The Miss England competition is the most prestigious beauty competition in the UK leading to Miss
World.
Laura was in the Miss England 2005 national final where she finished in the final 12 as Miss
Leicestershire. Although she didn't win that year, she entered again. Laura won the Miss Derby title in
June 2008 and was then voted FRESH MODELESQUE by the Fresh Academy who are the
photographic sponsors giving her a place in the final 20 where she then went on to win Miss England.
"Im so pleased I didn't give up and entered again" says a determined Laura who graduated in 2008
with a 2.1 degree in business and marketing.
Chloe Marshall, Size 16 First Runner Up to Miss England
bittenandbound.com — We ’ve been rooting for 17 year old Chloe Marshall to capture the
Miss England 2008 crown. The Grand Finals were held last night in London and our favorite
ended up capturing the first runner up honors. Laura Coleman, 22, was crowned Miss
England 2008 before an enthusiastic crowd.
Miss England 'too fat' for catwalk........Blonde 22-year-old LAURA COLEMAN wowed judges earlier this year and
will go on to next month’s Miss World final in South Africa.
The business graduate – who used to date cricket star STUART BROAD – started her modelling life as a skinny
size eight.
But opting for a more healthy figure has ruined her catwalk and magazine career.
Laura told The Sun: “I’m a size 10 to 12.
“I really think the curvy girl should be promoted
more as a positive image in the media.
“But the modelling agencies seemed to have a
problem with me when I wasn’t skinny any more. It
puts you in a different type of modelling.
“But I think as long as people are comfortable with
themselves that’s all that matters. “And I’m just
proving that I am comfortable with myself as
opposed to feeling under pressure to be a size
zero.” source.

A beauty contest, or beauty pageant, is a competition based
mainly, though not always entirely, on the physical beauty of
its contestants, and often incorporating personality, talent
demonstration, and question responses as judged criteria.
Almost invariably, competitions for men and women are
separate events, and those for men are not referred to as
beauty contests. Beauty contests for women are more
common, and winners are called beauty queens. Beauty
contests for men, like Mr. Universe, are more likely to be
"body building" contests—quite unlike the traditional
"beauty contest" in which women are judged upon many
attributes both physical and otherwise. However, in the
1990s, male "beauty contests" began to shift focus. Instead
of only considering muscle mass, the competitions began to
judge the natural physical attributes of the contestants as
well as their physiques. These include Mr. World and
Manhunt International.
There are also beauty contests for children. These events
are often controversial, particularly when children are
dressed provocatively and described in adult terms.

Miss Teen South Carolina Я Us
Now that everybody has had their laugh at Lauren Upton, Miss Teen South Carolina, over her botched answer to
the question: "Why is it that 1/5th of Americans can't find the US on a map?", why don't we take a more serious
look at this fiasco? You know, it is altogether possible that many of the folks who were watching her reply on
Youtube are part of that fraction of Americans who indeed can't find their own country on a map. Start
mentioning other countries and I'll bet that number skyrockets. So Ms Upton has a lot of company. Why is it that
in the most advanced nation on earth, so many Americans are so lacking in knowledge? You can lay the blame
at the foot of our education system. see footage below.

This is not the body of a Beauty
Queen, look close at the girl behind
her to the right she is laughing... But,
you go girl.. I think you should love
your body no matter what.
I think Lauren represents more of what a Beauty Queen should look like...
