Hugh Grant threw a tantrum yesterday on British television after he took offense at
being asked if he would marry his girlfriend Jemima Khan. The actor was being
interviewed on the BBC1 Breakfast show when presenter Kate Silverton asked him
about his love life.
She asked, "You're very happy in your personal life, can we expect wedding bells
soon?"
Grant snapped back, "I can't believe you asked me that. This is supposed to be a
classy show surely? I'm ashamed of you."
The actor has been dating heiress Khan for three years.

Jemima Khan unleashed a torrent of four-letter words after catching lover Hugh
Grant flirting with his ex Liz Hurley.
The 31-year-old millionaire reportedly saw red after seeing Liz - who dated the
'Love, Actually' star throughout most of the 1990s - seductively licking Hugh's
fingers at Sir Elton John's White Tie and Tiara bash.
Jemima is said to have stormed off swearing after spotting the saucy display.
A sheepish Hugh, who has been romancing Jemima for a year, reportedly rushed
after her and tried to beg for forgiveness.
A source revealed to Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "Jemima was furious. Liz
was flirting with Hugh all night.
"We couldn't believe it when she grabbed Hugh's hand and started sucking his
finger suggestively. Even if it was just a laugh you could see how uncomfortable
Jemima was."
The source added: "Hugh raced after her but Jemima was not in a forgiving
mood. She kept shouting at him: 'F**k off'. He kept coming back for more and
she ended up telling him three times to 'F**k off.
"He was looking dead sheepish. He must have had a hell of a lot of crawling to
do."

and Los Angeles premieres of his new film, Music And Lyrics. The actor's publicist, Robert Garlock, confirms the break-up to People saying, "Hugh and Jemima have
decided to split amicably."
The star made an appearance on morning show "The View" Friday, where co-host Barbara Walters noted that he'd been "domesticated" by Khan, whom she described
as "pretty attractive and pretty intelligent." Grant replied, "I agree with you, I think she's a cracker."
When co-host Joy Behar asked what the term meant, he explained, "She's a cracker, but that's something different here in America!"

A prankster handcuffed herself to Hugh Grant at the Dutch premiere of his new
movie Music & Lyrics last night.
The actor was left stunned when Cielke Sijben, a journalist working for Dutch TV
network 101 TV, leaped forward as he walked the red carpet at the Amsterdam
Pathe and clamped a metal handcuff on his wrist, attaching herself to him.
The confused star had to stand for 10 minutes while police detained Sijben and fire
fighters were summoned to free him from his captor.
After the cuffs were cut off, the calm 46-year-old returned to his red-carpet duties,
promoting the film - in which he stars alongside Drew Barrymore - while Sijben was
arrested by police.
An onlooker says, "It was incredible. She appeared from nowhere and Grant
couldn't believe it was happening. But he was the ultimate professional. He just
stood in silence and waited for the fire fighters to free him. He did look relieved
when he disappeared into the theatre - she could have been a maniac."

repeatedly kicking and swearing at him.
