1/2011 30 Seconds to Mars singer and actor Jared Leto has been spending some of his down time in Haiti. Pictures posted by the
30StM frontman revealed a country and people still devastated by last year's earthquake. With the upcoming one year anniversary
of the earthquake that rocked Haiti to the core, Leto has been there taking pictures and video of what he's seeing. One of the
results of Jared Leto's trip to Haiti will be a help Haiti book of sorts to raise money for on-going Haiti earthquake relief efforts.
Jared and brother Shannon spent time in Haiti as kids. Jared has connected with and helped various organizations since arriving in
Haiti, including Sean Penn's organization J/P HRO which got a write up in the Mars newsletter “Transmission” this week.

Ah. “Hurricane: The Film”. With the announcement that "Hurricane: The Film" had been banned from television, it became
controversial before it was ever even aired. The controversy surrounding the film placed it firmly among some of the most famous
banned videos in history. And even while 30 Seconds to Mars frontman, Jared Leto has promised that a more explicit version of the
video is coming, the one that has already been unveiled has certainly ruffled its share of feathers. It was recently banned by music
giant MTV, according to some reports and now it looks like two more channels have also sounded a resounding 'no' to the video.
