Actress MICHELLE RODRIGUEZ hit MARC JACOBS' New York Fashion Week showcase on Monday night with a fashion
accessory of her own - a court-imposed ankle bracelet, according to Contact Music.

The kicked off LOST star tried desperately to hide the metal clamp around her ankle by covering it with a cloth, but it came
unwrapped constantly. Rodriguez has the extra accessory because she was driving drunk in Hawaii.

She confesses, "The clamp can detect alcohol content by your sweat glands."

4/08 What's the connection between Japanese slasher
flicks and Edgar Degas? Rodarte. The Mulleavy
sisters' graphic show juxtaposed spiked shoes and
bloodred dyes with the sort of full, lacy tutus seen in
the French Impressionist's studies of ballet dancers.
"Degas was a master at depicting movement," Kate
Mulleavy says. Ballerina-ready tutus also took the
stage at Alexander McQueen and Ralph Lauren this
season. At Zac Posen and Comme des Garçons,
meanwhile, the look was more Moulin Rouge (à la

Legendary fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent died
Sunday in Paris, France. He was 71.

According to his longtime friend and associate, Pierre
Berge, Saint Laurent died Sunday evening following a
long illness.

He was “unquestionably the greatest designer” from
the 1950s to 2000, Valerie Steele, director of The
Museum at FIT (New York’s Fashion Institute of
Technology) tells USA Today. “Just as Chanel brought
modernism into women’s fashion, you could say
Yves Saint Laurent brought fashion up to a kind of
contemporary life.”

“Most designers are incredibly lucky if they can
contribute one thing to fashion,” Steele continues.
“But he was like Picasso: He contributed to so many
significant movements. It’s impossible to imagine
contemporary fashion without this man.”
