12.5.07 Charlize Theron stays in shape by only eating quarter portions of
her favorite treats.

The Oscar-winning actress refuses to cut junk food out of her diet, but
manages to keep the calories down by only eating a quarter of the meals
she likes.

Charlize, 32, said, "I'm careful to eat a healthy balance of foods, but I eat
six small meals a day. If I fancy a burger, rather than deprive myself I'll
eat a quarter of one."

The "Monster" star - who piled on the pounds to play serial killer Aileen
Wuornos in the 2003 award-winning film - also keeps her exercise regime
interesting by taking part in fun outdoor activities.

She told Britain's Elle magazine, "I love to be active, especially outdoors.
My favorite workouts are cycling, kayaking and walking."

The South African born actress now lives in Los Angeles with her
long-term boyfriend, Irish actor Stuart Townsend.

Charlize recently confessed she is terrified her breasts are sagging.

She said, "I'm 32 and as you get older you get wrinkles and your boobs
sag. You get wisdom too, so it's not all bad. But you can't really do
anything about ageing."
2/16/08 Charlize Theron stays close to partner Stuart Townsend at the
2008 Meteor Awards at the RDS Simmonscourt on Friday in Dublin,
Ireland.
Townsend, 35, was born in Howth, County Dublin, Ireland.
The Dublin International Film Festival, which runs until February 24, is
also hosting the Irish premiere of Battle In Seattle tomorrow. The film,
which was directed by Townsend and stars Theron, depicts the riots
that confronted the World Trade Organization’s 1999 meeting in
Seattle.

While Rihanna did her best to wash New York City
in a glow of red, Charlize Theron tried to do much
the same a the premiere of her film with Will Smith
Hancock in Moscow. The action flick opened the
30th Moscow International Film Festival and the
two have been all over posing for red-carpet pix to
hype it up.

Not one to shy away from striking a bold pose in a
rich color (much like she did at a recent Christian
Dior event), our girl tried to make it work, but sadly,
I feel like at least one Muppet was killed in order to
make this dress and it makes me sad because I'm
pretty sure it was a Fraggle.

I think it could work if that strange boa weren't
weaving all around her neck all crazy and stuff.
Unless the dress is actually growing flowers, in
which case, I'm actually sort of in awe.

young she hesitated to look sexual and she almost
did not use cosmetics and did not put on short
skirts, according to buildyourbody.net. Now she
pays attention to her style, figure, skin and hair and
even has some diet tips for you!

Daily diet: Charlize Theron eats plenty of raw fruit
and vegetables to gain the maximum vitamin and
mineral benefits, but balances it with what she
likes. ‘I love red meat – for breakfast it is steak and
eggs.’ Here is a sample menu on Charlize Theron’s
diet program:

Breakfast: two slices of bread with bran, a lettuce, a
tomato, 50 gr. of tuna.

Lunch: one toast, one fish cutlet with the table
spoon of a tomato sauce, salad from the green
vegetables, filled by a lemon juice, fresh fruits – an
apple, an orange, a pear, two plums or a small
banana.

Dinner: 250 gr. of hen prepared on a grill, green
string bean, baked tomatoes, 50 gr. of mushrooms
boiled in a small amount of a chicken broth, salad
from green vegetables, filled by a lemon juice, a
glass of yoghurt or 75 gr. of low-fat fried meat with
sauce, 125 gr. of potato in jackets, salad from
cabbage celery and fresh fruits.

Alcohol: a glass of dry wine, a sort of liquid diet for
her tasting pleasure.




Weight loss tips

Recently she wanted to lose weight fast so she cut
out alcohol, starch and dinner. That created the
amazing results where Charlize Theron lost 14
pounds in a month! However, she didn’t enjoy the
experience and prefers to be her natural size. ‘It
wasn’t fun to lose weight fast,’ she says, ’
something strange happens to your body – you just
don’t feel as strong even though I lost weight
naturally, not with just some weight loss pills.’


Food outlook: Charlize Theron is reassuringly well-
adjusted, largely because of her background:
‘South Africans love their food,’ she says. ‘I could
live off potato chips! I’m very comfortable with my
body. I love cheese, meat, pizza, fries… only now, I
try to find a balance between what tastes good and
what’s good for me in order to have a healthy diet.’




Charlize Theron’s workout secrets
The actress combined a diet and exercise program
that keep her in shape. Charlize Theron is an active
person and she likes to be constantly on the move;
that’s why she does outdoor activities, as she
herself puts it: “I love to be active, especially
outdoors. My favorite workouts are cycling,
kayaking and walking.” She also runs, does yoga
and has been doing ballet for years. The fact that
she has always been very active has helped her
stay in shape or even regain her weight without
struggling too much: “I have always been very
athletic. I studied ballet for years, but I used to
sneak out to do ice-skating, squash, running –
everything. I still love exercise, and dance”, she
