Billie Piper's New Year's wedding
Billie Piper and Laurence Fox are planning to celebrate their
wedding in Billie's ex-husband's pub.
The 'Doctor Who' actress is keen to tie the knot with her fiancé in a
romantic December 31 wedding at St. Mary's Church in Midhurst,
West Sussex, before heading to local pub The Lickfold Inn - which
is owned by Billie's former spouse, British TV and radio star Chris
Evans - for the reception.
A source told Britain's Daily Mail newspaper: "Some people might
see this as a publicity stunt, but Billie genuinely wants to celebrate
her special day with Chris there.
"She knows Chris will make sure her and Laurence are waited on
hand and foot and have the best possible wedding reception they
can have - that's why she chose to have it there."
Billie and Laurence - who met while starring together in London
play 'Treats' earlier this year - reportedly chose to wed in their local
church after going to see the Christmas tree, known as the 'Tree of
Hope', that had been erected in the church grounds.
Billie and Chris, whose divorce was finalised in May, always vowed
to remain "best friends for life".
The divorced couple have cemented their friendship by frequently
dining out as a foursome with their respective partners - Laurence
and Chris' new wife Natasha Shishmanian.
The 25-year-old actress also attended Chris and Natasha's wedding
reception in Portugal in August.
The 15th Century Lickfold Inn is the third pub Chris has bought
recently through his company, The Mulberry Group.
It is currently being renovated, and if it is not open in time for
Billie's wedding the couple will instead celebrate at the nearby
Mulberry restaurant.

Billie Paul Piper was born in Swindon, UK, on the 22nd of
September 1982. Growing up with her brother Charlie and
sisters Harley and Ellie, Billie knew early on that she wanted
to be a performer.
An ambitious Billie enrolled in the Sixth Sense theatre
company in 1990, which gave her acting experience in
several television commercials and an episode of The
EastEnders. After a year of studies at Secondary School in
her hometown, she was accepted into the Sylvia Young
Theatre School in London. Despite her attendance at the
prestigious school, Billie's busy schedule forced her to
continue her education with a private tutor.

5/20/08 Billie Piper’s risque TV show Secret Diary of a Call Girl is getting a
Stateside date — Showtime is bringing the naughty show, which stars Billie
Piper as a, well, secret call girl, over to the States, and plans to run it
starting in June of 2008. The show is supposedly based on a blog by an
actual call girl, but it’s a blog, so who the hell knows who actually wrote it, it
could be a fat guy for all anyone knows. But what can’t be deny is that Billie
Piper looks pretty damn hot in the show, and I’ve seen a couple of episodes.
