Lip Plumping 101: 5 Secrets to Bigger, Poutier Lips
Okay, so ever Angelina Jolie hit the screen sending all the other actresses in hollywood to the dertmatologist
for lip injections... But, you know that when you blow up a balloon and air starts to come out it starts to look
saggy and wrinkly? Well, there are better ways to keep your lips bigger and more poutier without the nasty side
effects....
Well, thanks to modern day lip plumping technology, as well a few good old fashioned (and free) techniques,
you can achieve fuller lips for little cost, and end up with something that looks natural, and fits your face much
better. I've listed these techniques and tips below.
1.) First of all, a great lip plumper is a must. I would not recommend those lip plumpers which contain harsh,
drying ingredients like cinammon, as my experience with these has only been temporary fullness, with dryness
that inevtiably follows. Hydration is key to keeping plump lips, so drying them out only defeats the
purpose. When applying your lip plumper, open your mouth as wide as you possibly can. This allows the
plumping agents to get deep in the crevices and cracks and helps to fill out the lip tissue even more.
2.) Drink lots of water to keep the skin and lips well hydrated. This keeps you internally hydrated. Ever notice
how when you're dehydrated (thirsty), your lips tend to "shrivel"?
3.) Scrub your lips with a wash cloth in the morning to get off all the dead skin. You can even buy yourself a lip
scrub. Mac makes a great one. Then apply a generous layers of lip plumping conditioner, so that you wake up
with plumper lips. If you want, you can even use your hands to "stretch" your lips out wider, so you can get
deeper penetration.
4.) Lip pumps are available, but these are kind of an awkward device, although they do produce dramatic lip
plumping for up to a few hours after use. Word to the wise on lip pumps : Do not get overzealous with them, as
you will most assuredly end up with bruised lips or blood blisters. Start out very slow with these if you choose
to use one. The way they work is they draw fluid into the lips by actually forcing it into this localized area
through a suction mechanism. Rumor has it, these nifty little devices are used on some photo shoots on models
to create an instantly plumper pout.
5) Try a great Lip Plumping Liner to avoid those tiny lines around the mouth and keeps the outside of the lips
looking thick... most plumpers you use only on the inside and not on the corners.... This is for the outside.

FOR GREAT HAIR THEIR ARE FOODS TO AVOID...
Foods that seem to be harmful to your hair
There are some foods that you should avoid and replace them with fresh
fruits and vegetables.
Why? To ensure that the hair that is forming beneath the surface of your
scalp is healthy.
So, the foods to avoid include too many sweets, chocolate, cakes and
cookies. Unfortunately, these favorites simply don't help your hair.

Nutritional Steps to Healthy Nails
By Corinna Richards
What you eat will reflect on the health of your nails, too.
Lack of vitamin A and calcium causes dryness and brittleness.
Lack of protein, folic acid and vitamin C causes hang nails.
White bands across the nails are caused by protein deficiency.
A lack of sufficient hydrochloric acid can cause splitting nails.
Insufficient intake or vitamin B12 can lead to excessive dryness, very rounded and
curved ends and darkening of nails.
Insufficient zinc can cause development of white spots on the nails.
Cuts and cracks in the nails may indicate a need for more liquids.
Red skin around your cuticles can be caused by poor metabolism of essential fatty
acids.
Here are the guidelines to follow for improving the health of your nails:
Eat a diet composed of 50% fruit and raw vegetables in order to supply necessary
vitamins, minerals and enzymes. Eat foods rich in sulfur and silicon, such as
broccoli, fish and onions. Include foods rich in biotin such as soy, brewer’s yeast
and whole grains.
Drink plenty of water and other liquids.
You may supplement your diet with royal jelly, spirulina or kelp, which are rich in
silica, zinc and B vitamins and help to strengthen your nails.
Drink fresh carrot juice daily, this is high in calcium and phosphorus and is
excellent for strengthening nails.
Eat well and your whole body will be better, healthier, more beautiful

Filling In Your Eyebrows
The trick to full brows is to come clean, then fill in the blanks. Waxing
director Eliza Petrescu of Avon Salon & Spa explains it for us:
* Choose a pencil and powder in the correct shade. Women with fair
complexions should use a blonde shade, those with olive tones should go
tawny or brown, and those with with African-American skin should use
gray.
* Brush brows downward with a dry, mascara-like wand. To define the
arch, use the pencil to draw a line along the upper edge of the brow. Comb
the brows upward and outward.
* For added fullness, dust eye shadow into the hairs of the brow with a stiff,
slanted brush. Dip the brush into a tiny amount of powder and use short,
gentle strokes while applying.
* If brows have been severely overtweezed, brush the hairs in the direction
of the growth, and fill in any visible patches with powder. Avoid adding to
the top or bottom of the brows.
* Comb a clear brow gel up through the brows to set hairs in place.

A Quick Hand Treatment
Hands are the most visible parts of you, but they also take a
lot of abuse. You use them in everyday activity, and yet, they
are the ultimate accessory. You must give them the same
attention you give your face.
* Soften your hands even while you do the dishes. Add a little
almond oil (about a teaspoon) to dishwater. The water will
soften rough skin while the oil seals the moisture.
* Slough off dead skin cells with a solution made of sea salt
lemon. Brush it into hands with an old toothbrush. Do this
twice a week to soften hands and remove discoloration.
* Wash hands thoroughly with warm water, then, using a
coarse washcloth, rub briskly. While skin is slightly damp,
apply a mixture of one teaspoon honey and one teaspoon
olive oil. Place hands in small plastic bags, then in a pair of
cotton gloves for thirty minutes. The heat helps the treatment
penetrate.
* Warm a cup of milk in the microwave for thirty seconds (or
until warm, but comfortable to the touch). Soak your hands for
five minutes to strengthen nails and hydrate skin. Not only is
milk loaded with lactic acid, a natural alpha hydroxy acid that
gently exfoliates dead skin, but its high calcium content will
strengthen fragile nails.
Picking Lingerie YOU Feel Comfortable In -
It's Hard to Pull off Sexy If You Don't Feel Comfortable
Choosing lingerie isn’t easy if you’re the least bit self-conscious—and who
isn’t? After all, when you’re wearing a teddy or a baby doll, there’s not much
left but you in all your glory. If you’re feeling glorious, either because you’re
madly in love or you’ve just completed an astonishing diet program, you can
probably put on nearly any piece of lingerie without feeling too self
conscious. But for many women, sexy lingerie prompts the impulse to hide
behind the nearest drape and get those lights off as soon as possible. The
fun of dressing up charges an otherwise ordinary evening with excitement.
Women have used lacy nightclothes for centuries to woo men, to
demonstrate their interest in their mates and to call forth the feelings of
earlier times in long established relationships.
Here are some tips from our friends at Yandy Lingerie on how to choose the
right lingerie for you.
Your Mind
To find the best lingerie, first consult with your own mind. Are you bashful or
proud of your body? Are you embarrassed showing much skin, or do you hit
the beaches in tiny suits? Take some time to think about the way you feel
about your body before choosing a piece of lingerie. It’s good to be bold, but
if modesty can’t be easily forgotten, you may find that a sexy outfit makes you
more inhibited, not less. On the other hand, some women find that lingerie is
like a costume: you can pretend to be freer and wilder than you usually are.
If you’re not sure you can make the leap from Shy Suzy to Wildcat Wendy,
choose two pieces of lingerie, one more modest than the other. You can
make a last-minute switch if you need to. Never forget that the purpose of
lingerie is to have fun, to add spice to your life. You can certainly dress up
to please a partner, but make sure it’s something you like, too.
Your Body
Play up your best features. Hiding your legs? Choose a long nightgown with
spaghetti straps and a deep v neckline. Baby dolls and teddies show a lot
more leg and bust, but make sure you add the right shoes! If you pair sexy
lingerie with a pair of flip-flops, the effect is undone. Find old-fashioned
feathered mules, or try a pair of stiletto pumps. Gloves add a fun touch, too.
Empire waisted baby dolls are useful for hiding your tummy if you feel self-
conscious about it, while still showing plenty of leg. And if you want to wear
something sexy without putting it all on display, there are plenty of easy,
elegant lingerie fashions you can wear even to host late night cocktail
parties.
Lingerie Themes
To build the perfect lingerie wardrobe, consider organizing it by theme. Buy
lingerie sold for Valentine’s Day, Christmas (complete with Santa Hat) or St.
Patrick’s Day, with matching shoes. Collect bridal nightgowns or dress up
like a nurse or a French maid, just for kicks or for a sexy Halloween. And for
more modest but fun night fashions, explore retro lingerie styles—long, filmy
nightgowns, lacy peignoirs and diaphanous robes.
Treating Oily Skin with the Proper Face Care, Makeup and Therapy
Most people experience oily skin when they hit puberty and hormones begin to rampage across the bodily
systems. Causes of oily skin have also been attributed to diet, stress and environmental issues, but the main
reason for oily skin is the increased production of skin oils, or sebum, usually associated with hormonal changes.
Remedies for oily skin range from washing practices to herbal skincare products made for the oily complexion.
Oily Skin and Acne Breakouts
Oily skin doesn't necessarily cause acne, but it can be a contributor to breakouts if the skin isn't kept clean
enough. Acne occurs when pores are invaded by dirt and oil, get clogged and breed bacteria. The bacteria in the
pore causes swelling and the typical pimple is filled with pus, which is the body's attempt to fight infection using
white blood cells. Keeping your skin clean and pores unclogged is one important way to prevent acne breakouts.
And it all starts with the way you wash your face.
Skin Care and Makeup for Oily Complexions
Some people think that removing oil from the face is like washing it from dishes: they use the harshest soap and
the hottest water to get their skin "squeaky clean". They never moisturize, and may even wipe their skin with
alcohol to dry it out. The bad news is that if you treat your oily skin with harshness, it will redouble its efforts to
protect itself—it will actually start to produce more oil to cope with what it feels are harsh environmental
conditions! Wash your face, but use a gentle soap and lukewarm water, and don't rub or scrub. Treat your skin
with love and compassion, and it will respond positively. Use an oil-free moisturizer to keep your skin protected,
and protect it further by using a moisturizer that contains sunscreen. Keep the shine blotted down by using
powdered mineral makeup, which is guaranteed to give you a matte finish without clogging pores. At the end of
the day, remove your makeup with a gentle, alcohol-free toner, wash your face gently, and reapply moisturizer
before bed.
Natural Beauty Product Suggestions for Oilier Skin
Oil free moisturizers usually contain glycerin and water, and some of the best products also contain tea extracts
and oatmeal. Oatmeal has long been recognized as a soothing skin care product, and when used as a mask can
brighten your skin without drying it out too much. Companies like Aveeno are making oatmeal based moisturizers
and makeup that work wonderfully to care for the skin. Beauty tips columns always contain the oatmeal facial
mask as a remedy for oily skin. Just puree oatmeal with a little water, wipe on the skin, allow to dry most but not
all they way, and rinse off.
Luckily, caring for your oily skin has never been easier, since a tremendous range of products ensures that
there's something for everyone. Treating oily skin is done at two levels; prevention and blemish control. Gentle
treatment, the right oil-control makeup and proper nutrition can help prevent oily skin. Blemishes can be treated
with tea tree oil or one of the natural remedies including green or white tea extract (powerful antioxidants) and
skin calming oils such as lavender or chamomile.
Does diet and nutrition contribute to skin oils?
Some people think that chocolate or fatty foods can cause oily skin, and if you are allergic to a particular food, it
may show up in the way your skin behaves. Chocolate has not been shown to increase skin oil or breakouts; in
fact, dark chocolate contains antioxidants that are good for your brain and your body. But junk food like chips,
high fat, high salt burgers and other fried foods may impact your skin as they do your entire body. If you're a junk
food junkie and have oily skin or breakouts, take a month off from your favorite foods to see if your skin
condition improves.
Antiaging therapy in the form of creams or lotions containing plant or milk acids often dry users' skins as the
acids remove the top layer of skin cells from the complexion. Check out moisturizers containing alpha lipoic acid,
which may decrease the oil in your skin after a short time of use.
GRAY: Yes, it's the new Black!
You should know that gray is THE COLOR to buy in Fall/Winter 2007.
Structured & interesting shapes, patent accessories, even the new knits - all found in shades of gray (from
silver to gunmetal grey).
The grays this season didn't automatically translate into boring.
Rich hues such as charcoal and anthracite were offered in luxe fabrics and sexy silhouettes- many with
intriguing details like beading and crystals.
Major colors this season include also greens, burnt orange (metallic sheen), plaid & houndstooth, and the
continuation of the summer trend of multi-colored patterns.
GREEN:
This color will take Fall 2007 by storm.
From rich & textured olives, to jewel-tone
emerald green, there will be plenty of
jackets & dresses & coats in this luxurious
color.
Vegetal and mineral shades modulate
olive green, khaki and fango tones to icy
blue nuances.
Pick any shade of green that suits you,
and also pair bright green with black for
some Fall sophistication.
PURPLE
Purple has been the key through summer and now ranges from a wine purple that has a hint of red
present to a violet purple that verges with royal blues and French navy.

About Scene Makeup and how to get it
When it comes to scene makeup there is no pattern.
Still, many scene girls keep eyes as the main focus, so never let the rest of your
makeup overpower the eyes.
Stick to sheer lipgloss, if any, the best and that's enough.
The pale look for canvas is always welcome.
You got to know first what type of makeup do you want: smoky eyes, sparkling diva
look, goddess look, punky shades or anything you saw on other girls. After you
decide the look you want, choose your makeup pallette. However, you're not
limited to eye shadow or eyeliner color choices, you can also use less intense eye
shadow colours.
The most popular is the heavy smokey eye look. The traditional smokey eye makeup
shadows are, of course black or grey, but for a more "sceny" look, you can use:
violet, chocolate, dark pink, copper, dark green, dark blue or purple.
Wearing eyeliner is a must, (whether you're male or female). If you have the "skills"
to apply it, do it yourself, but if you're a novice gal or guy, let someone that knows
how to apply eyeliner do it for you and teach you how to do it well.
Guys have the tendency to put a little too much makeup on their faces, while girls
can wear as much or as little as they please Applying eyeliner all the way around
the eye is optional, and winging it out on the sides for a cat eye effect is a common
practice. Find what eyeliner look you look good in, and stick with it.
Lines can be thin, or thick, depending on what you like best.
Add bright bold neon eye shadow. Hot pink is most popular, but you could go for a
yellow, purple, or even rainbow. Pigments are best, but they can be quite
expensive. You could get a normal eyeshadow that's not sheer, and wet your
applicator, then apply.Depending on how scene you would like it to be, use faux
lashes.
False lashes were brought back by the "Scene Queen" Jeffree Star.
If it doesnt come out exactly right, or how you want it to be, keep in mind that you
need only some exercise to get a flawless scene makeup!
