Well, boys and girls, Avril Lavigne is at it again. She's got a new album coming out, and
is back to her "punk" persona, once again.
I guess the whole modelling/acting jag didn't take, and Avril needs to pay the bills again.
I'm not sure exactly what her look is supposed to be, though. Is it Punk, Hardcore,
Poser?

Here’s Avril Lavigne’s new music video, Girlfriend. As I
stated in an earlier post, I find the song catchy, but in
terms of Avril maturing as an artist, musically, it’s a step
backwards! What I do like about the song, or at least the
video, is that we get to see Avril do a little dance number.
That’s right folks, you heard me right! Avril Lavigne, the
“Punk Princess” busts a move JLo style! Now, I’m going
to warn you in advance, Avril ain’t no dancer! She makes
Gwen Stefani look like a Juilliard trained ballerina.
However, the knee high socks and little mini skirt, more
than make up for it.
