06/27/2007 4:00 PM, British singer Amy Winehouse shocked a reporter at U.S.
rock magazine Spin by self-harming herself with a broken mirror during a
recent interview.

The Rehab star etched "I Love Blake" - a reference to new husband Blake
Fielder-Civil - into her stomach with a shard of broken mirror left over from a
photoshoot.

And the outspoken singer told the magazine her rough-and-ready attitude to
life and success allows her to be as dangerous and controversial as she wants
to be.

Winehouse, who recently confessed she was considering quitting the music
industry to become a full-time wife and mum, explained, "I'm not in this to be a
f**king role model."

"I don't care about any of this and I don't have much of an opinion of myself. I
don't think people care about me. I made an album I'm very proud of and that's
it."

Meanwhile, the odd, controversial magazine interview almost became a report
on a bar brawl when Winehouse's partner threatened a bystander who joked
about his resemblence to actor
Ethan Embry.

The interviewer writes, "Fielder-Civil whispers into my ear cheerily, 'Tell the guy
who looks like he has leukaemia I'm going to slit his throat.
Amy Winehouse Hits #1 on Billboard Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums Chart
06.27.07, 1:33 PM ET

2007's most acclaimed music sensation just scored another piece of prime real estate in her
one-woman takeover of the U.S. music charts. British singer/songwriter Amy Winehouse locked
down the coveted #1 spot this week on Billboard's Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums Chart, with her
gold-and-climbing album Back To Black, while notching the #7 slot on the Billboard Top 200
Albums Chart. The album has been a steady Top Ten staple since its U.S. release only 3 months
ago.

The charismatic singer also possesses the hottest song on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart, with her
sizzling single "Rehab" scorching its way up the Top Ten (the sultry song rocketed from #48 all the
way to #10 on the Billboard Hot 100 Singles chart just days ago), thriving as one of the biggest
sales-gainers in online and portable downloads, owning the upper tiers of the wireless carrier and
mobile charts, as well. Back To Black has now sold more than 2.5 million albums worldwide, making
it one of the most critically and commercially successful debuts of the year.

Amy has announced new U.S. tour dates to meet the growing demand for her signature brand of
torrid but textured R&B. She returns to the states after a closely followed string of sold-out
European shows on two festivals - the V Festival in Washington, DC, August 4, and the
Lollapalooza Festival in Chicago, IL, August 5. Amy's much anticipated end-of-summer tour kicks
off at NYC's Summer Stage on September 12, with a show the following day - September 13 - in
Upper Darby, PA. She will also be appearing at the Austin City Limits Festival in Austin, TX
September 15, with stops in included in Los Angeles on September 18 & 19, San Francisco on
September 21 & 22, Seattle on September 25, Minnesota on September 28, and pulling into Chicago,
IL on September 29 - with more dates to be announced.

Recent high profile cover stories on Amy in Rolling Stone Magazine and the July issue of Spin
Magazine find the accomplished vocalist emerging as one of the most compelling new
singer/songwriters of our generation. This past week she won 2 MOJO Awards, being named Mojo's
'Woman of 2006' and won the first ever 'Song of the Year' award for her smash hit single, "Rehab."

Mutya Buena: "Amy Winehouse Is Too Thin'
27th June 2007 18:01:01

British pop star
Mutya Buena fears for singer pal Amy Winehouse, claiming the star
has lost too much weight.

Former Sugababe Buena insists it's healthy to stay slim, but claims Winehouse has
gone too far.

She tells New magazine, "I would never tell anyone how to live their lives. She has
lost too much weight, though, which I do worry about.

"I think watching your weight to a certain extent is ok, but I don't recommend we
should be walking around with bones sticking out of us. No man wants that anyway."

Winehouse who married her boyfriend Blake Fielder-Civil in an unnannounced
cermeony in Miami in May 2007 admitted in 2006 that she had suffered with both
anorexia and bulimia in the past.

This confession came after the British press published pictures of the ecentric singer
claiming she had dropped three dress sizes.

In recent months the tabloids have been full of stories about the star while she was
under the influence of alcohol sparking further concern for the health of the singer.
