What is the Pro Ana Boot Camp Diet, or the ABC diet?

Background
The Ana Boot Camp (or ABC Diet, not to be confused with
Robert S. Wieder's ABC Diet) is an internet diet meme passed
around on forums devoted to pro ana (pro anorexia, a
movement promoting anorexia as an alternative lifestyle
rather than a disease).

What You Eat
The Ana Boot Camp Diet is a simple 50-day schedule listing
the number of calories that the dieter is advised to eat.
Calorie levels range from zero to 500 calories (one day only
lists 800 calories), in an apparently random pattern.

Dangers
Ana Boot Camp supplies very few calories, only a fraction of
the calories even than the Master Cleanse, which is
considered by many to be a virtual fast. And the Ana Boot
Camp is 50 days long, whereas most Master Cleansers don't
continue for longer than 10 or 12 days. Thus the Ana Boot
Camp diet is potentially extremely dangerous.

The Diet's Theory
The diet is based on the concept of calorie shifting, a dieting
theory born from the idea that when you reduce your food
intake suddenly, your body shifts into "starvation mode," an
evolutionary defense mechanism in which your body's
metabolism becomes more efficient in order to cope with an
expected shortage of food. By varying the number of calories
each day you presumably trick the body into not realizing that
it is being confronted with a shortage of food, thus
preventing starvation mode.

Problems with Theory
The concept of "starvation mode" as applied to dieting is a
myth. Although there is a grain of truth underlying the idea,
the degree of efficiency that your body can achieve during a
weight loss diet does not materially affect your rate of weight
loss.

And in the case of the Ana Boot Camp, it's preposterous to
think that your body would interpret days of 400 or 500
calories as "feast days" that would counter days of 100 or
200 calories. Every day of the Ana Boot Camp diet is a fast
day.

The Ana Boot Camp diet will cause you to lose weight not
through any metabolic hacks, but rather through simple lack
of food, but it will do so at the risk of the dangerous side
effects of long-term fasting.

Ana Boot Camp is sometimes called ABC Diet, and is
sometimes misspelled Anna Boot Camp.
Here are some tips on how to get flat stomach.

The best way to burn extra calories and fat from your abdominal
area is to do some abdominal exercises. There are different types
of abdominal exercises but the most effective ones are specifically
meant to work on abdominal muscles. Lie down on the floor with
legs on a chair. Make sure that your thighs are perpendicular to
ground and legs are parallel to the floor. Now, try to lift your body
off the ground with your hands crossed at the back of your head.
You will feel your abdominal muscles working with this exercise
and you will get a flat abdomen soon if you do the exercise
regularly.
Aerobics are also effective for working of abdominal muscles and
shedding extra fats. If you can go for light weight lifting exercises
along with that, it will help to burn your fats faster and tone up the
other parts of your body. Jogging, swimming, cycling, etc in the
morning burn of your fats and give your body a better shape. The
other exercises to get flat stomach are abdominal Crunches,
Stomach Twisting, Belly Resting Exercise, Hip Raise Exercise,
Russian Twist, Vaccum Pose and Belly Rubs, Dumbbell Side Bends,
Air Cycling, Leg Lift Exercise, Knees In and Out, Sit Ups, Front
Squat, Inclined Sit Ups, Reverse Crunches, Ab Tuck, Ball Crunches,
Log Roll, etc. Healthy eating is crucial for perfect body shape. You
could do any kind of exercise, visit gym or try any other effort, but it
is difficult to get a flat stomach if you have an unhealthy choice of
food. Take lots of protein such as nuts and beans, dark vegetables,
fruits. Intake of 25-35 grams of fiber is sufficient to prevent your
tummy from growing larger.
Apart from healthy eating, there are some don’ts of taking food. Say
‘No’ to junk foods and cold drinks, and you will notice a great deal
of change in your health when you do the work outs regularly. High-
fat diary products are barrier on your way to flat abdomen. Try to
avoid sugar as far as possible and reduce the amount of chocolate,
and other sweets that you consume. Although it is difficult to
eliminate sugar from your diet, you can minimize the intake of sugar.
Drink a lot of water. Our body requires sufficient water for our
kidneys to function smoothly. Drinking of lots of water results in
low fat because it will fill you up. Many people do the mistake of
over-eating for the shake of eating once a day and keep
themselves starved for the rest of the day. It will simply increase
the fat. Instead of skipping your meals, try to increase the
frequency of your eating and reduce the amount of food intake; eat
small meals.
With higher metabolic rate the body tends to burn more calories
even if you are not doing anything. It will also increase the
frequency of your meal as you may feel hungry in every 2 to 3 hours.
It is better to have your meals at least 2 hours before you go to
bed. Generally, our body slows down when we sleep. If your sleep
just after taking your meals, it will delay your digestion process.
