Heroes actress Ali Larter is proud of her
"juicy butt".

The 32-year-old star revealed she was once
told to lose weight by movie bosses but
refused to conform to the idea of the perfect
Hollywood body.

She said: "When I was shooting a movie
once, the faxes went out from the producers
and the director to my agents to my manager
to call me and ask me to lose weight.

"I just remember sitting in my trailer
hysterically crying from the embarrassment I
felt about myself, my body - and that no one
could talk to me directly.

"I'm an indulger, but then I have to be good.
When I'm in really good shape,
I like my butt. It's juicy."

Larter is a former fashion model, turned
actress.  You may recognize her from the
movies; Final Destination, Varsity Blues, and
Resident Evil.  Currently Ali is in the
television series Heroes.  Ali is obviously in
great shape, so we wanted to know how she
does it.  Ali graced the cover of Shape
Magazine in March 2008, and inside she gives
some great Diet, Workout, and Exercise
Motivation Tips.  Keep reading to check out
excerpts from the article

Diet
Ali uses portion control for her diet.  She
does not adhere to any strict guidelines and
eats treats in moderation.

“One night, I splurge and have pasta and
champagne and finish with a chocolate
soufflé. The next, it’s a salad for dinner and
frozen yogurt for dessert,” she says.
Generally, Ali sticks to an all-organic diet
consisting of cereal, like muesli, with vanilla
soy milk for breakfast and a grilled chicken
salad for lunch. “I love to cook my own
dinners,” says Ali. “But I rarely eat carbs at
night because I tend to put on pounds when I
do. So I just make a sauce, like a thick lamb
ragout, skip the bread and pasta, and add a
salad.”

“I love wine, bread and cheese,” she says in
the interview. “I just have to cut out the
bread sometimes.” Source: Cosmo

Workout
To stay in shape Ali isn’t afraid of exercising.
She is very committed to working out on a
daily basis.

“Working out has always been a part of my
life,” says Ali, who grew up playing sports
like softball and soccer. “Now that I’m in my
30s, it’s become even more important for me
to take care of myself.” A dedicated runner,
Ali takes advantage of the near-perfect Los
Angeles weather with 25-minute morning
jogs three or four times a week through the
Hollywood Hills. “This is nonnegotiable,” she
says of her two- to three-mile run. “I don’t
think about it, I just do it. I never, ever miss
my workout. Never!”

“I don’t want exercising to take over my life
completely.” Source: Cosmo
