Twenty four year old model, Abbey Clancy, is not a model overly concerned about her
weight or exercise routine, yet she managed to lose 5 pounds eating curry three times a
day while on a photo shoot in India.

“After a few days we craved it and couldn’t wait for our brekkie,” she said. “I was also
eating so much bread, but I didn’t have any sweets or chocolate.”  Then she adds, “I’ve
got a massive appetite and zero willpower. The last time I stepped in a gym was four years
ago. But I’ve got a horse I ride most days.”

The reason this particular “non-diet” diet might have worked for her is that certain spices
have been shown to elevate metabolism as much as 50%.  They also have the ability to
lower blood sugar, effectively reducing hungry and raising energy levels.

A sample daily menu of the model’s diet:

Breakfast
Scrambled eggs with Tabasco sauce

Lunch
Chicken and spinach dhal with wholemeal pitta

Dinner
Tandoori fish curry with vegetables

Snacks
Wholemeal chapati
3 x dates

Stay away from the curry sauces that contain a lot of fat, because no amount of a
metabolism boost is going to overcome the excess calories from fat. Stick with the

3/28/2011 After just a week, Abbey Clancy is preparing herself
for the post-pregnancy regime. She’s anxious to start dieting
and working out so she can lose the weight she’s gained
during the pregnancy. From her statements, you can tell she’s
determined to shed the pounds as soon as possible.

“I’m sick of having Primark leggings on and big stretchy lycra
tops,” she confesses. “It’s got to be done!”

She’s got the right attitude and it won’t take her long to get rid
of the extra weight and get back to her former model figure.
What’s more, it seems that the 25-year-old has been on a
healthy regime even during her 9 months pregnancy to make
sure she doesn’t gain too much weight.

“She’s always been conscious of what she eats but now she’s
gorging on loads of fruit and vegetables,” said a source.

Aside from that, she was also drinking herbal tea and eating
yogurt with granola to maintain her figure.
