12/27/07 Fox reality show ‘American Idol,’ hosted by Simon Cowell, Paula
Abdul and Randy Jackson, is back for its seventh season and will once
again spread its premier over two days to accommodate all the footage
of auditions shot in seven cities.
‘American Idol’ will air the first of two, two-hour premiere episodes on
Tuesday, January 15 with the second airing January 16. Both shows will
be broadcast at 8:00 pm on Fox.
The January 15 and 16 shows will highlight the auditions held over the
summer and the next six episodes will track the journey through each
city: Atlanta, Charleston, Miami, Omaha, San Diego and Dallas.
