Gemma Ward...(born November 3, 1987 in Perth, Australia) is a model. She was discovered in 2002 when she was in the
Australian television show Search for a Supermodel, which she was persuaded to enter.

She was signed by Vivien's Model Management based in Australia and IMG in New York. She is a former student of
Shenton College.

Ward was the youngest model chosen to be in a Vogue shoot of nine "It Girls" in the modeling world. Ward has been on
campaigns from Prada to Yves Saint Laurent and been in shows for designers such as Versace and Gucci. She also has
been on magazine covers such as Vogue and W. Most recently, she was selected as the first model to appear on the
cover of TeenVogue magazine.

"Gemma is one of the very, very few models who look as though they come from another dimension." - British
photographer Nick Wright. Ward is the spokesmodel for Calvin Klein's perfume "Obsession Night for Men" along with male
model Drew Keilt. Gemma starred in John Mayer's music video for "Daughters".

Ward is now regarded as one of the world's most beautiful women by many fashion insiders, having been described at
times to have a "pixie" look about her. She currently lives in New York. She is close friends with fellow models Lily
Donaldson and Lily Cole.
Ward is the second daughter of Perth GP Gary Ward and wife Claire. Her older sister Sophie is also a model. Oscar and
Henry are her younger twin brothers. She starred as Heidi in the 2001 film Pink Pyjamas.
