Dear Jodee, How do I stop binging and purging? Why am I letting it control
my life? Sometimes, people with Bulimia Nervosa just cant say why or
when it took a hold of their lives. They might feel completely confused as
to why they continue behaving in ways that they want so desperately to
stop, yet still feel compelled to do.
Knowing that many others feel the same and behave the same way as
you do can bring some degree of comfort, as can knowing that it IS
possible to break free from the condition.
And having an understanding of the cycle of binging and purging that is so
often central to Bulimia can help immensely in being able to break free
from that cycle.
I give here an example of how that cycle might work, but please
remember it is just ONE example. Everyone will have their own unique and

Relationships and weight gain...Then along comes love. Suddenly, your not just sharing dinner
with the cat anymore. Evening meals and weekend brunches are now eaten. Your much more

How Water Is Related To Weight Loss
Water Contains Zero Calories.. That is a good thing...
Because the calorie-content of water is zero, drinking water instead of milk, fruit juices or regular
sodas helps to lower the calorie content of your diet and thus helps weight reduction. That said,
water contains no nutrition either. By comparison, soft drinks like milk and fruit juice have
significant nutritional content. Milk is a good source of calcium and protein, while citrus fruit juice
(like orange or grapefruit juice) is an excellent source of vitamin C. In fact, one glass of citrus fruit
juice can meet all your daily vitamin C needs.
Water Can Fill You Up
Some dieters find it helpful to drink a glass of water when they feel hungry between meals, or just
before a meal. However, I do not recommend this as a regular appetite-reduction tactic. Firstly,
because hunger is an important indicator of low blood sugar, which water can do nothing to
correct. And if blood sugar falls too low, it can lead to irresistible urges to eat junk food or binge.
Secondly, drinking water purely to fill up your stomach is merely an artificial short-term measure
which does nothing to help create the sort of eating habits that are essential for long term weight

Dealing with a Fat Day
"You're going to love these workout pants," said the sales clerk wrapping
my purchases. "They have a lot of stretch in them so they're perfect even
when you're having an 'I feel fat' day."
I thanked her and left, pondering her words all the way home. I knew what
she meant by an "I feel fat" day (I bought the pants, didn't I?), and yet it
seemed a really strange concept. Since when did "fat" morph into an
emotion like "happy" or "angry"? What does it mean to "feel fat" and why
are some days so given over to that feeling that they're consumed by it?
Like St. Patrick's Day or Independence Day, fat is important enough to get a
day named in its honor ‑- and it doesn't just come once a year. Get a bad
shock from the number on the scale? Can't fit into a favorite pair of pants?
How about a snide comment from a relative or colleague? That's all it takes
to turn an ordinary Monday or Tuesday into IFFD (I Feel Fat Day).
Carrying extra pounds is a necessary but not exclusive prerequisite to an
IFFD. To have an IFFD, one must also carry an element of shame. A good IFFD
is not complete without tears, self-loathing and a frantic scramble for
concealing clothes. I know plenty of people (most of them male) who have
fat without the shame. These men and women don't feel they can't leave the
house without their special fat day pants. They don't feel unlovable,
undeserving or invisible to the opposite sex. In fact, many of them are
certain that this month's flavor of supermodel would find them irresistible if
only they could wrangle an introduction. Needless to say, these people don't
have IFFDs.

I love when I surf the web and find something about me...

I lost 6 Pounds Over Last The Weekend…
By Monday everyone was telling saying to me, “You look so Skinny, you lost weight,
your looking so Good”….
Those words I live to hear. They sound like little angels singing…
You are so skinny. I have to admit straight out that I am addicted to be thin and love
when people tell me it!!
Anyway, I had some extra weight to lose to get into this pant suit that my girlfriend
had given me. I also wanted to detox, so I asked Jodee what I could do for the
weekend to lose weight by Monday.
Jodee is the weight loss guru of the world hands down!!
She told me to do the miracle juice fast for Saturday and Sunday you could lose up
to 10 pounds.  
Jodee told me that, “Monday you will be thinner and have done a great deal of
service to your body, because you will have done a great detox too.”
She told me that everyone should
detox at minimum 4 times a year, by fasting.
The formula that Jodee suggested was of all natural juices and ingredients which I
wanted because I did want to cleanse and rejuvenate my body too.
Instead of eating on Saturday and Sunday I drank a yummy concoction of vitamins,
minerals, and essential oils…. Yeah, and I lost 6 pounds.
Now I am pretty sure most of that is water weight…
But, I have to say though… 6lbs was just the boost I needed to keep me focused on
my goal weight.  I am 5’4 and on Friday Morning weighed in at 112lbs.
Monday morning the scale was just at 106lbs.

Restaurant eating out tips • Watch your salad dressing! Caesar salad can be just as

took to her twitter recently and claimed that despite the rumors, she is not on

would never do this unhealthy diet! I do QuickTrim!”
